1.Baking/Cooking Challenge: You need to bake/cook your creation this week (complete this by Sunday). Don't forget to take lots of photos/videos. Next Monday, you will start the next step (the review). Have fun!!
2. Math: Click on the Theoretical Probability #2 assignment card. This assignment is due by 4 p.m. today. This is from the Grade 6 textbook, so it is more challenging. I'll see lots of you this morning at 10 a.m. for a further explanation. We will be playing a game together to start the meeting!!
3. Poetry: Thank you for sharing your Narrative Poems yesterday. Remember, it's important to read your feedback, so you can reflect on areas of growth for next week.
Happy Favourite Poem Friday! Like every Friday, the assignment is available in the Assignment tab, and is due by 4PM tonight. There are plenty of narrative poem examples in the poetry resources thread - or you can search for your own online!
4. News Headline and Free Choice Assignments: Week 6 are due today by 4 p.m. When you have completed your entry, simply click on Assignments tab and attach your work! Then click on "Turn in." Read the Assignment carefully, so you are setting up your news article correctly (Website address, date, titles)!! Let's get really creative for your Free Choice assignments!! Remember that one of your free choice assignments needs to be an interview.
5. Do two-three workouts this week. Take a photo of yourself/family and post it on the Physical Education channel. I need some proof!! Thanks to those that have done this. You should post a photo/video at least once per week. Ms. Jones has added a cool challenge for you to tackle on the Physical Education channel. There is also a new daily workout YouTube video (The Body Coach) on the channel!
6. Music: Mrs. Inglis has a new activity for you on her website (see Music channel to the left).
Finished everything? Have you tried completing all the challenges in the Math challenge channel? Have you been working on your French using Duolingo? Have you been improving your typing skills on BBC Dance Mat??
