Math meeting at 10 a.m. Poetry meeting at 1:00 p.m.
1.Baking/Cooking Challenge: You should have baked/cooked your creation by now. Hopefully, you remembered to take photos and/or videos. The final steps (which are due this Wednesday at 4 p.m.) that need to be completed for this assignment are:
a). Putting your photos/videos on your Assignment card (better to put these on the OneNote page that is attached). Yes, you should include captions!
b). Your review (with a title!). Please look at the assignment carefully to complete this portion of the assignment!! It's also better to write this on the OneNote page that is provided (unless you are doing a PowerPoint).
2. Math: Click on the Fractions/Decimals/Percents Assignment card. This assignment is due by 4 p.m. today. This is review from a unit earlier in the year, but we need to revisit this before we move on with probability. We will also go over some of the trickier questions from the last assignment. I'll see lots of you this morning at 10 a.m. for a further explanation.
3. Poetry: The list poem video lesson has been posted over in the Poetry Channel - make sure you watch the video and review the assignment instructions before our whole class 1PM poetry meeting. These 2 poems are due Tuesday by 4PM.
It's our last week of poetry learning! Spend some extra time on your poems to make them as detailed and creative as possible.
4. Historical Journal: Final Entry is due Wednesday by 4 p.m. Review the examples of questions you can answer (attached to the Assignment card). This assignment needs to be at least 15 sentences in length. Start thinking about your news article and free choice assignment due Friday. Remember, one of your free choice assignments must be an interview!
5. Do three workouts this week. Take a photo of yourself/family and post it on the Physical Education channel. I need some proof!! Thanks to those that have done this. You should post a photo/video at least once per week. Ms. Jones has added a cool challenge for you to tackle on the Physical Education channel. There is also a new daily workout YouTube video (The Body Coach) on the channel!
6. Music: Mrs. Inglis has a new activity (May 25-29) for you on her website (see Music channel to the left).
Finished everything? Have you tried completing all the challenges in the Math challenge channel? Have you been working on your French using Duolingo? Have you been improving your typing skills on BBC Dance Mat??
