Small Group Meetings today!! Everyone needs to come to these (see below).
1.Baking/Cooking Challenge: Most of you have attached your recipe to the Assignment card. It is best to use the page provided so you don't have to include a whole bunch of attachments. You need to bake/cook your creation this week (complete this by Sunday). Don't forget to take lots of photos/videos. Next Monday, you will start the next step (the review). Have fun!!
2. Math: There is no assigned math today. Your small group meetings today will actually be me explaining how to do your yearly Core Competency Self Assessment! Super important! These are due by 4:30 p.m. today, but don't start until after we have had our meeting. It will only take you 15 minutes to complete.
3. Poetry: The narrative poem video lesson has been posted over in the Poetry Channel. Remember that you are only writing one narrative poem. Read the instructions carefully and don't forget a title. This is due Today by 4 p.m.
4. News Headline and Free Choice Assignments: Week 6 are due Friday by 4 p.m. When you have completed your entry, simply click on Assignments tab and attach your work! Then click on "Turn in." Read the Assignment carefully, so you are setting up your news article correctly (Website address, date, titles)!! Let's get really creative for your Free Choice assignments!! Remember that one of your free choice assignments needs to be an interview.
5. Do two-three workouts this week. Take a photo of yourself/family and post it on the Physical Education channel. I need some proof!! Thanks to those that have done this. You should post a photo/video at least once per week. Ms. Jones has added a cool challenge for you to tackle on the Physical Education channel. There is also a new daily workout YouTube video (The Body Coach) on the channel!
6. Music: Mrs. Inglis has a new activity for you on her website (see Music channel to the left).
Finished everything? Have you tried completing all the challenges in the Math challenge channel? Have you been working on your French using Duolingo? Have you been improving your typing skills on BBC Dance Mat??
