Math meeting at 10 a.m. It's always good to show up to these meetings because we discuss all the assignments below! Poetry meeting at 1 p.m.
1.Baking/Cooking Challenge: The final steps (which are due today at 4 p.m.) that need to be completed for this assignment are:
a). Putting your photos/videos on your Assignment card (better to put these on the OneNote page that is attached). Yes, you should include captions!
b). Your review (with a title!). Please look at the assignment carefully to complete this portion of your work!! It's also better to write this on the OneNote page that is provided (unless you are doing a PowerPoint).
2. Math: Click on the Theoretical Probability #4 Assignment card. This assignment is due by 4 p.m. today. I'll see lots of you this morning at 10 a.m. for a further explanation. Tomorrow's small group math meetings will be all about probability! Check over your past assignments. Do you know how to put a fraction in simplest form??
3. Poetry: The poetry unit review video has been posted over in the Poetry Channel - make sure you watch this final video and review the free choice poem assignment instructions before our whole class 1PM poetry meeting. These poems are due Thursday by 4 p.m.
These will be the final 2 poems you will be writing for this poetry unit, and you will be self-assessing them on Friday. That means that they should be creative, detailed work that you are proud of!
4. Historical Journal: Final Entry is due today by 4 p.m. Review the examples of questions you can answer (attached to the Assignment card). This assignment needs to be at least 15 sentences in length. Start thinking about your news article and free choice assignment due Friday. Remember, one of your free choice assignments must be an interview!
5. Do three workouts this week. Take a photo of yourself/family and post it on the Physical Education channel. I need some proof!! Thanks to those that have done this. You should post a photo/video at least once per week. Ms. Jones has added a cool challenge for you to tackle on the Physical Education channel. There is also a new daily workout YouTube video (The Body Coach) on the channel!
6. Music: Mrs. Inglis has a new activity (May 25-29) for you on her website (see Music channel to the left).
